Vidya Gastaldon: art across drawing, film, and sculpture
This 64-page volume introduces the work of Geneva-based artist Vidya Gastaldon through drawings, films, and sculptures made with wool and other craft materials. The publisher’s description places her visual language between hippie, psychedelic, and New Age aesthetics and references to Minimalism, connecting those influences to a childhood in the 1970s and 1980s. Pleasure and experience are identified as central concerns across the works, giving the collection a thread that links its varied media.
