A fable-shaped parade of monsters
A fable-shaped parade of monsters
Philippe Parreno’s collaboration with illustrator Johan Olander presents sixteen monsters through short descriptions and illustrations, arranging them as a parade within the form of a fable. Their names—including Propaganda Rabbit, Beamer, Audiotron, Superfan and Reality—suggest a cast built around varied contemporary references. Published as an artists’ book and described as a children’s book, the 36-page volume brings text and image together around this procession of invented figures.
