A belt-by-belt guide to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Jiu-Jitsu University organizes more than 200 grappling techniques along a path from white belt to black belt. Saulo Ribeiro pairs technique instruction with common errors and practical corrections, giving the manual a problem-solving dimension alongside its belt-by-belt structure. The emphasis is on training: identifying what can go wrong in a technique and studying a remedy, not just cataloging moves. That combination makes the book a reference for revisiting fundamentals and examining how technique develops across levels.

Good fit for readers who enjoy

  • Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners studying techniques across belt levels
  • Trainees seeking guidance on common technique errors
  • Instructors looking for a structured training reference
