A first competition and a chance to step forward

Mizuki’s first marching-band competition puts her determination to belong into action. As private trumpet lessons with Akira build her confidence, an announced audition for a special solo gives her a more personal challenge: deciding whether to put herself forward. The volume connects musical ambition with the risks of choosing a new path, including Mizuki’s wish to show her parents that joining the band was worthwhile. Presented as a full-color manga and the second volume in the series, it centers on high-school band competition, growing confidence, and the pursuit of a place in the ensemble.
