Friendship through a big change

Worm and Caterpillar’s friendship is tested by a visible transformation: Caterpillar disappears and returns as Butterfly. The story uses that change to explore whether two friends can remain close when they are no longer alike in the same way. Presented as a Level 1 Ready-to-Read graphic book, it introduces the format through panels and speech bubbles, with accessible vocabulary and sequential storytelling. A how-to guide for reading graphic novels is included at the beginning, adding practical support for children encountering comics and graphic storytelling for the first time.
