A rescue becomes a new friendship

In this third Catwings chapter book, the spoiled, self-assured kitten Alexander ventures out alone and winds up stranded in a tree. Jane, the youngest of the Catwings, comes to his aid, setting up a story about an unlikely pair and the possibility of kindness being returned. The rescue gives the two characters a shared starting point, while Alexander’s first solo exploration brings a small adventure into the series’ fantasy world.
