AlbakiReads Editorial

A shared glimpse of the natural world

A seal’s point of view frames this story around a familiar moment of curiosity: seeing an animal in nature and wondering what it sees in return. The description invites young children to imagine following that encounter into the seal’s world, making observation and animal life the book’s central subjects. Its premise stays close to the simple exchange of looking—between child and animal—without specifying where the seal goes or what it discovers.

Good fit for readers who enjoy
