Book overview
Belynda is about to reach her eighteenth birthday...
Desperately she seeks a normal life-an escape from the dreams that haunt her.
She feels trapped in a world where supernatural beings exist only in books and television, yet her mind tells her otherwise. Tired of society's labels proclaiming her mentally unstable, she seeks to find answers to her dreams. Dreams of a life that is not her own. A life she feels bound to and calls out to her. Driven by the possibility of a supernatural world, Belynda uncovers hidden proof that goes beyond time and reason. Evidence that her life is bound to Isabel's in unimaginable ways.
Isabel is a young girl who struggled in her time against the guardianship rules, a secret society created centuries ago by the fates to control the gates to other realms. Isabel, born to inherit a sit on the council, faces the consequences of her actions after falling in love with an immortal and breaking one of the most sacred rules.
A Dragon. A fire-bound creature, they call him, but Drake is more than that. He is the heir to Druleska, the fire realm. Bound by duty and honor, he must accept the punishment the guardianship dictates for loving Isabel. The price, being vanished to Xelraa, the dark realm.
Belynda's actions will set their lives in motion and change the course of their destiny. Will she expose the mysteries that keep her awake? Will she cross time and reason to find the love of a life she once knew?
