Friendship, arcade plans, and Valentine’s Day baking

Volume 7 brings together two school-life threads: Senga’s uncertain wish to become friends with Yutaka, which leads to a possible arcade outing, and the girls’ efforts to prepare Valentine’s treats. Tsumiki’s super strength complicates the baking, while Hebizono’s attempts at making chocolate add another obstacle. Set in a high school where supernatural beings are part of everyday life, the volume pairs questions of confidence and friendship with a festive classroom project.

Book overview

A cute werewolf girl helps a timid human boy gain the confidence he's always dreamed of having!

Yutaka Shinso is constantly worried about what other people think of him. Hoping to turn over a new leaf, he changes high schools, but there's something strange afoot: vampires, ogres, and all manner of supernatural beings walk the halls! Yutaka is particularly drawn to Tsumiki Ogami, a confident and popular werewolf. Will Tsumiki be the one to help Yutaka overcome his insecurities?

At the start of the new semester, Senga wrestles with a strange new feeling--he wants to be friends with Yutaka, but he isn't sure how to do that. Maybe a trip to the arcade together will help? Meanwhile, Tsumiki and her classmates prepare for Valentine's Day by making chocolate treats for the boys. But Hebizono's creations are all disasters, and Tsumiki's super strength makes baking near impossible. Will the girls be able to make their sweets in time?
