Music, friendship, and a hive in trouble

Claire’s hive faces a practical crisis: the worker bees have not gathered enough food for winter. As Claire takes on more work and begins training her sisters, she also finds a new connection through music. The story brings together the needs of a community and one bee’s emerging interests, with dangers and internal pressures—from predators to the Queen’s deputy—adding to the hive’s challenges. Presented as a graphic novel for younger readers, the first volume sets Claire’s choices against the survival of the group.
