A plan unravels in Las Vegas

Cory has spent months studying Mariana, convinced he can earn her trust through calculated lies. When their paths converge in Las Vegas, his scheme becomes entangled with a death—and with the possibility that events have slipped beyond his control. Book overview

A passion. A hatred. A jealousy. A murder.

Cory is patient. Calculated. Obsessed.

He's been following Mariana for months. Every move. Every habit. Every secret.

She's clever. But as they both roll into Las Vegas, he's crafted the perfect plan. He knows winning her trust will take time: a few lies, a few fake promises. She'll never suspect a thing. But the closer he gets, the harder it is to control what comes next.

Then it all goes too far. Someone winds up dead.

Now there's blood on his hands, and he wonders if he ever really knew what he was doing.
