This monograph about caries disease, caries continues to increase globally with increasing urbanization and changing living conditions as the prevalence of major oral diseases. This is primarily due to inadequate fluoride (in the water supply and oral hygiene products such as toothpaste), the availability and affordability of foods high in sugar, and societal associated with poor use of oral hygiene services. The introduction of foods and drinks high in sugar, as well as tobacco and alcohol, has led to an increase in the consumption of products that contribute to oral diseases and other diseases. Caries is a multifactorial disease, and therefore the same approaches to choosing a treatment method do not give highly effective results. Therefore, improving the prevention of caries remains one of the urgent problems.
