The Dragon Child is an adventure fantasy tale following a young man, Dragon; a half-blood born of ancient magic spawned from his parent's love. When his human father and his mother, the Queen of the Dragon Empire, pass, Dragon inherits the throne, and with it a world in trouble.
Magic And Darkness, the second installment of the series, Dragon and his companions continue to travel across their world, venturing into unfamiliar lands and realizing they are not prepared for what is to come. Their journey brings encounters with orcs, elves, and dark wizards, revealing sinister secrets that start to uncover more encroaching shadows than they could have imagined. Throughout this, the teenage king, Dragon, struggles to prevent his lack of knowledge and overpowering emotions to lead to grave mistakes. Will his mixed blood give him the strength needed, or will it tear him apart? As the King of Dragons, he must now survive the battles within himself and the battles raging around him if he is to stand victorious, and in doing so hold back the darkness that tries to consume all that he knows and loves.
