A Christmas journey away from home

Stick Man’s familiar place in the family tree is disrupted when a dog carries him off to play fetch. As he is taken farther from home, the story centers on separation from family and the wish to return in time for Christmas. An encounter with Santa Claus gives Stick Man a chance to help and points the way back. The holiday setting, family ties, and journey home shape this picture-book tale, which the publisher presents as suitable for reading aloud.
