Aileen knew from the moment she was born that she was different. She had a power that she didn't understand, yet somehow the foreign boy Declan knew more about her power than she did. Fighting to ignore her power, Aileen distracts herself with decorated soldier Cohlin, who also knows of Aileen's power but is content to help her ignore it. However, Aileen's world is thrown into chaos when a mysterious enemy begins stalking her. Forced to use her powers to save her family, tragedy strikes and Aileen has no choice but to face the truth. With Declan by her side, Aileen learns what it truly means to embrace her destiny as the Spirit Walker.
