City sounds for little listeners

A baby’s outing around town with Mommy provides the framework for a sound-focused picture book. Rhymes and collage illustrations bring together people, animals, and vehicles, inviting young children to connect pictured objects with the sounds they make. The everyday city setting gives the book a clear focus on listening and early spoken language, with words and sounds to revisit together.

Good fit for readers who enjoy

  • Babies and toddlers exploring sounds and early words
  • Caregivers looking for an interactive book to share with very young children
