A citywide crisis for Sonic

Collected from issues #17–20 of the Sonic the Hedgehog series, this volume brings Dr. Eggman’s Metal Virus plan to the fore. The infection turns civilians into Zombots—machines Eggman can manipulate—and spreads across entire cities. Sonic is racing to respond while struggling to keep his own infection under control; the danger also reaches his friends. The setup puts the threat on both a citywide and personal scale, with Sonic’s ability to act under pressure at the heart of the conflict.

Good fit for readers who enjoy

  • Young Sonic the Hedgehog fans interested in a continuing comic-book storyline
  • Readers looking for a graphic novel featuring Dr. Eggman and a citywide sci-fi threat
