A curse threatens the Island in Skandar’s fourth year

Skandar and his friends return to the Eyrie for a fourth year as a curse begins affecting the Island’s unicorns. The danger unfolds alongside two human threats: a Commodore seeking to eliminate the spirit element and Skandar’s sister, who is bent on revenge. With the curse spreading, Skandar and his quartet race to stop it before the Island is lost. The setup brings together fantasy adventure, a threat to the unicorns, and conflict over the Island’s spirit element, while continuing a story begun in earlier books.
