Buddhist teachings woven through an epic story

Set across previous lives and the present, the novel links the story of Bhaddiya, king of Sakya, Queen Ayutha, and Binggisa, who loves her, with teachings associated with the Buddha and his disciple Sariputta. Its described threads include faith and devotion alongside betrayal, revenge, hatred, and forgiveness. This combination places Buddhist thought within a narrative of relationships and moral conflict, connecting the characters’ story to questions of how people respond to harm and seek understanding.
