A topsy-turvy parade to town
Silly Sally sets off for town walking backward and upside down, and the journey gathers a string of playful encounters with funny animal friends. The premise is built around physical comedy and an unusual parade, giving the picture book a clear, easily shared sequence of images and actions. Its humor comes through the odd ways Sally and her companions move and play, making the book’s central pleasure its chain of silly surprises.
