Book overview
Finding out who you truly are should be a joy, not a death sentence.
Laylea has finally found a place where she belongs, friends who adore her, and a boy who makes her tail wag. She just wants to live a normal life as a normal shifter kid. But fate isn't on board.
Her body has started shifting into any old creature that comes into her head... and at the most inconvenient times. A hawk during math class? Check. A turtle in the cafeteria? Yep. And she can't do anything to stop it.
After barely surviving a brutal werewolf attack on their school that left kids injured, parents furious, and everyone questioning what they thought they knew about their world, her friends are already on edge. She can't worry them more with her own fears.
Now, whispers are swirling about an old prophecy, that a True Shifter, a shifter who can turn into anything, will come and free them all from hiding.
Which would be great news, except the werewolves are whispering, too.
They know the True Shifter is in the school and they need the True Shifter's blood to create a drug that will solidify wolf supremacy once and for all.
If Laylea is the True Shifter, she can save her community. Or she can save herself.
She can't do both.
For fans of supernatural thrillers and shapeshifter adventures, Shifter Moon delivers found family, magical battles, and a heroine who must embrace her dangerous gift to save everyone she loves. Percy Jackson meets Animorphs in this fast-paced urban fantasy.
