Book overview
Caiden Hooks is blind, totally blind. In fact, both of his eyes were removed to save his life. Being blind is merely a fact, but Caiden does not allow that simple fact to define him. Having lost his eyes to cancer as a child, you might think that would have slowed him down; you would be seriously mistaken. Being blind provides Caiden a different view of the world, one that is uniquely genuine and not distracted by the continuous visual entanglements that assault the rest of us. His writing reflects this sightless perspective in the depth and breadth of his descriptions and the spirited journey of his character development. While Caiden is not yet a New York Times bestseller, give it time. While this book took shape during his high school years, Caiden is only a college freshman after all. When he is not creatively writing, Caiden is diving deep into the college experience getting involved with various clubs and even competing successfully on the college wrestling team. Get to know this author early, as this first book is just the beginning of The Sun Swords Chronicles. This first book is sure to be a springboard for many incredible journeys we can look forward to from this inspiring young author.
