A penal unit on the front lines

In this manga’s wartime fantasy, heroism is imposed as punishment: condemned criminals are sent to fight the Demon Blight, and death only returns them to the battlefield. Xylo Forbartz, once captain of the Order of Holy Knights and now convicted of killing a goddess, is bound to this cycle. His encounter with a new goddess leads to a pact that could alter the world. The premise brings together coerced service, repeated resurrection, and a conflict between divine power and human survival.

Good fit for readers who enjoy

  • Manga readers interested in dark fantasy and supernatural warfare.
  • Readers drawn to stories about condemned characters caught in systems of forced service.
  • Those interested in fantasy premises involving gods, resurrection, and humanity’s struggle against a demonic threat.

Such is the fate of Xylo Forbartz, former captain of the Order of Holy Knights and convicted goddess killer. But when Xylo comes face-toface with a new goddess, the pact they forge might just be enough to change the world...
