A divided Budapest and a prison on the edge of the Fae Wars

Set nearly two decades after a barrier between Earth and the Otherworld fell, *Savage Lands* places Budapest amid tensions between powerful fae and privileged humans. Brexley, a nineteen-year-old human raised within a walled city after being orphaned, is caught up in its political struggles before a sudden turn sends her to a feared prison. The setup connects a fantasy conflict over dominance with questions of privilege, prejudice, and the violence growing between communities. This hardcover reissue is the first book in the six-book *Savage Lands* series and includes illustrated endpapers, a map, and sprayed edges designed to form a landscape across the series.
