The Gods of Japan have withdrawn from interfering with the world so as to avoid anymore destruction of its inhabitants again. However, their sins had unknowingly created an evil that had been brewing for centuries. The dragon Hirakuryu awakens, intent on destroying the world, and the Sun Goddess Amaterasu chooses a Samurai who can use her power to vanquish it. In order for the Samurai to use her power, her three treasures must first be collected. To do this, she conscripts a rice farmer to search for and present the treasures the Samurai. The first of the treasures is the jade jewel, magatama.
