A story told across Arizona’s murals
Sam & Sara presents its story across 56 murals painted on walls throughout Arizona, an unusual visual framework for a picture book. Its young protagonist’s habit of daydreaming becomes a source of creative ideas, opening onto an abstract landscape where those ideas take form. She explores this imagined realm while searching for a place to call home. The book’s concept brings together mural art, imagination, and a journey toward belonging, with the artwork carrying the story across many physical locations.
