Three summer stories with Poppleton

This collection brings together three glimpses of Poppleton’s summer: relaxing on his rooftop, heading to the country with his friend Hudson, and enjoying a rain shower. The short-story format and easy-to-read text place the book within the Acorn line for children learning to read. Full-color artwork accompanies the stories, and a how-to-draw activity at the back adds a hands-on extra. Summer activities and a familiar character give the collection a clear, seasonal thread for early reading.

Good fit for readers who enjoy
