A moon-sized request, told through unfolding pages

Monica wants to play with the moon, and her father sets out to help her reach it. Eric Carle’s picture-book story links that simple wish to a distinctive physical format: pages extend outward and upward as the tale unfolds. The book brings together a child’s imaginative longing and a parent’s effort to respond, with the moon giving the story its playful scale. This Classic Board Book edition presents the story in a format suited to small hands and shared reading.
