A first lesson in honesty

In this board-book installment of the Otter B series, a game of pirates ends with young Otter B breaking his father’s watch. His attempt to conceal the damage leads into the book’s central lesson: telling the truth after making a mistake. The format pairs a biblical verse with a closing rhyme that reinforces the value, making honesty the clear focus for shared reading with very young children.
