Returning home after successfully clearing the 2nd nest should have been a time for celebration and victory. Instead, Asher returned home to find his nest raided by a force from the surface. Even when he managed to drive the stragglers off, the kobold survivors were few and far between.

The humans above had raided the nest, led by a powerful paladin, Ergeist. Worse yet, everything Asher had found told him that the paladin was one of the 'trouble tickets' he had been sent to that world to fix! How could he succeed against such overwhelming power?

With little left to keep the remaining kobolds there, Asher's next goal was for the lands above: secure a place on the surface for the kobolds to live!
