Power inside the arena, danger outside

Volume 12 places a martial arts tournament alongside a growing monster threat. Suiryu’s strength draws attention inside the stadium, while heroes beyond it—including Genos—are being pushed to their limits. Saitama, whose overwhelming power has made finding a worthy opponent difficult, approaches his match against Bakuzan without knowing what is unfolding outside. The volume’s setup contrasts the tournament’s individual contests with a wider crisis developing around it, bringing its martial-arts and superhero elements together.

Good fit for readers who enjoy

  • Manga readers interested in superhero stories and monster confrontations.
  • Readers who enjoy martial-arts tournament settings.
  • Those following Saitama, Genos, and the ongoing One-Punch Man series.

Book overview

Life gets pretty boring when you can beat the snot out of any villain with just one punch.

Nothing about Saitama passes the eyeball test when it comes to superheroes, from his lifeless expression to his bald head to his unimpressive physique. However, this average-looking guy has a not-so-average problem--he just can't seem to find an opponent strong enough to take on!

At the martial arts tournament, Suiryu of the Dark Body Art shows promise with his outstanding strength. But outside the stadium, a large number of monsters are pushing the heroes, even Genos, to their limits! Inside, unaware, Saitama approaches his match against Bakuzan!
