A Colorado twist on a familiar farm song
A Colorado twist on a familiar farm song
The familiar farm-song format gets a regional cast: a pika, a cutthroat trout, and other Colorado animals take the place of the tune’s usual barnyard company. Colorado scenery and local pride are woven into the animal introductions. The layered board-book pages reveal each creature, and the closed book forms a pickup truck, adding a tactile feature to the song-based presentation.
