A team faces a challenge beyond the course

Tanisha Carter is eager to enter an extreme obstacle-course competition arriving in her town, and her video game friend Derek agrees to partner with her. Their strengths seem complementary, but training exposes Tanisha’s fear of heights—an obstacle that complicates the team’s preparations. The sports challenge gives the story a clear framework for exploring teamwork, confidence, and confronting a personal fear, alongside the physical demands of competition.
