A family’s approach to nap time

Honey Bear would rather ride her bike or play soccer than nap, giving this board book a simple everyday conflict for very young children to recognize. Mama and Papa try to settle her, and a visit from family friends helps her decide to lie down. The familiar routine, with Sister and Brother alongside Honey, keeps the story focused on family life and the transition from play to rest.

Good fit for readers who enjoy

  • Babies and toddlers, especially ages 0–3, sharing a board book with a caregiver.
  • Families introducing or talking about nap-time routines.
  • Young Berenstain Bears fans who enjoy stories about siblings and family life.
