An imaginary voyage from the bathtub
A bathtub becomes the starting point for a child’s ocean voyage in a blue boat, passing a harbor, whales, moonlight, and stars before finding its way home. The journey links familiar bath-time surroundings with expansive dreamlike scenery, giving the story a clear bedtime-and-dreams frame. Light-filled watercolors accompany the simple tale in this 30th Anniversary Edition.
