Letters and confessions from prison

Cheryln Cadle’s account is built around letters she says she received from Christopher Watts after contacting and visiting him in prison. The book presents those letters as a source of confessions about the 2018 murders of Watts’s pregnant wife and two young daughters, alongside Cadle’s account of the case. Its framing raises questions about how to understand Watts’s actions and the role his girlfriend may have played, while keeping the focus on his own written statements and the family’s deaths.

Good fit for readers who enjoy

Now she shares the letters and the truth about what happened that fateful night in Frederick Colorado to Shanann, Nico, Bella and Celeste Watts at the hands of their father.
