Gene Simmons’s life through a child’s perspective

This biographical account of KISS musician Gene Simmons grew from seven-year-old Harry Craster-Chambers’s meeting with Simmons and an interview conducted by Harry’s mother at Download Rock Festival in 2015. Harry began the story, and Naomi Craster-Chambers completed it using Simmons’s interview answers. The book presents his life as a route through hardship toward success, while also addressing bullying, family, and learning from failure. Its style is described as inspired by the Mr Men books, bringing a child’s starting point to a biography that includes Simmons’s message to young readers.
