This Step 1 reader introduces young readers to basic facts about the Moon through rhyming text and picture clues. It covers the Moon’s orbit around Earth and explains that its bright appearance does not mean it produces its own light. Large type and easy words are designed for children who know the alphabet and are beginning to read, while the illustrations provide visual support for decoding the text. The book draws on the StoryBots’ Moon-themed video, bringing its subject into an early-reading format.
