A moon-born newcomer faces suspicion on Earth

Born and raised in a lunar colony, the protagonist arrives at the South Kent Special Care Facility carrying a background that shapes how others judge her. After securing a job there, she finds herself framed for thefts and must identify the person behind the scheme before her career is ruined. An unusual skill learned on the moon becomes part of her effort to protect herself. The setup combines a lunar-colony upbringing with workplace suspicion, prejudice against moonchildren, and a mystery at the Facility. This is the first book in the Moonchild Rising series.
