A summer of monster-sized friendship

Reggie plans to spend the summer alone, brooding over an adventure that went wrong, until his curious neighbor Emily draws him into a series of shared plans. The two monsters differ in age, size, and temperament, but their outings give them common ground: they make a map, plan a beach party, and set out to find a sea monster. Framed as a chapter-book graphic novel, the story connects friendship and exploration with Reggie’s challenge of talking about his feelings and welcoming new friends.
