Reading Luke through the Messiah’s mission

Tim Gray’s study approaches the Gospel of Luke through the claim that Jesus’ messianic mission fulfills Old Testament prophecy. Its chapter-end review questions give the book a guided format, with prompts intended for personal reflection or group discussion. The introduction frames the study around attentive, prayerful engagement with Scripture and the Emmaus road episode, connecting the reading of Luke with the disciples’ experience of God’s love. The available description offers a clear sense of the book’s theological lens and discussion structure, though little detail about its chapter-by-chapter coverage.

Good fit for readers who enjoy

  • Adults studying the Gospel of Luke from a Christian theological perspective
  • Individuals who value review questions for personal reflection
  • Groups seeking prompts to support discussion of Luke
