Occasionally, a group of handsome, young men would arrive to drop off their horses, traveling from places as far as Bozeman for her father's expertise in horse training. During these times, a shy yet beautiful girl would watch from the gate as they loaded and unloaded their horses from the trailers. However, there was one young man who visited more frequently than the others, and Brooklyn made sure to be outside when he arrived. He was fully cowboyed up, complete with all the necessary fixings, the young man's worn boots hinted at his life's journey but were also steady enough to be his favorite. It's said that one can tell a person's story from the state of their shoes, and with this cowboy, Brooklyn could sense that he was a true cowboy at heart
