Maisy explores opposites

Maisy serves as the guide to a series of contrasting concepts, from fast and slow to tall and short, messy and clean, and wiggly and straight. The book pairs these opposites with rhyming text, colors, and patterns, making early concept-learning the organizing idea. Maisy also appears in changing forms, linking the familiar character to the book’s visual variations.

Good fit for readers who enjoy

  • Young children beginning to explore basic opposites and descriptive concepts
  • Maisy fans and families looking for a concept book to share with babies and preschoolers
