A study session shifts the dynamic

The second volume brings Risa and Zen’s growing closeness into a more practical setting: Risa has promised to help Zen and his friends prepare for exams, and the session takes place at Zen’s house. The publisher description frames the visit as awkward, while also noting how Risa’s time with Zen is changing her formerly standoffish self. Their school-romance setup pairs a model student with a loyal punk, with exam preparation providing the immediate focus for this installment.

Book overview

From the creator of Lovesick Ellie comes a new, high school romcom between a model student and a loyal punk! A Kodansha Print Club series.

STUDY SESSION
With each and every crisis Risa faces, Zen shows up to lend a hand--or rather, a shoulder--to cry or sleepily drool on. But the more time she spends with Zen, the less she recognizes her former standoffish self! She even leans in for a smooch...! Now, she has to make good on her promise to help Zen and his crew study for exams. The location? Zen's house. The vibe? Awkward.
