Undersea scenes to color and share

This set contains 36 postcards drawn from Johanna Basford’s Lost Ocean, with illustrations of exotic fish, octopi, and seahorses. Each card is designed to be colored, then sent to someone or kept as a finished piece. The postcard format gives the coloring activity a practical second life: the completed images can become small works to share, while the underwater subject matter ties the collection together. It’s an activity book built around making and personalizing individual cards rather than completing a longer sequence.

Good fit for readers who enjoy

Book overview

From Johanna Basford, 36 postcards for coloring and sending to friends (or keeping for yourself!)

These clever postcards feature beautiful drawings from Lost Ocean, illustrator and ink evangelist Johanna Basford's magical journey beneath the waves. Color in the cards to bring to life shoals of exotic fish, curious octopi, and delicately penned seahorses, and then share the magic with your friends - that is, if you can bear to part with them! Each postcard is an invitation to an inky new world hidden in the depths of the sea. For pirates, mermaids, and undersea explorers of all ages.
