A fire call for Fireman Small

Fireman Small’s trip through Tinytown links the familiar mechanics of a fire engine—an alarm, getting suited up, and racing to a fire—with a simple rescue adventure. The story includes putting out the fire and helping a young girl, giving its vehicle-centered premise a clear sequence of action. This board book edition presents abridged text alongside full-color versions of Lois Lenski’s original illustrations.
