A chance meeting across the edge of the ordinary

In this first volume, family upheaval and an encounter in Shibuya set Mizuki on a path toward a mysterious guitarist. A separate thread begins when Hotaru, after a brush with death, dreams of Mizuki and then finds her in an abandoned mansion. The two introductions frame the book’s supernatural mystery, linking a young woman’s search for someone she feels drawn to with an uncanny meeting that crosses the boundary between dream and waking life. The volume establishes its central questions through these connected encounters, leaving their relationship and significance to unfold.
