A divided path between Earth and the Moon

In this ninth volume, Phosphophyllite leads a group of deserters to the Moon, where the gems encounter the truth about their captured comrades. The Lunarians’ leader offers to restore the gems if Phos helps fulfill their ultimate goal, but the offer comes with a catch. Back on Earth, the Lustrous are making plans of their own. The volume brings the series’ conflict into sharper focus through these parallel developments, with questions of restoration, loyalty, and what the Lunarians seek shaping the stakes. Its far-future world of crystalline beings and lunar invaders remains the setting for a struggle that now unfolds on both sides.

Good fit for readers who enjoy

  • Readers following the Land of the Lustrous series and its continuing conflict between the gems and Lunarians.
