Phos searches for a new path

Set in the far-future world of crystalline beings at war with the Lunarians, this volume turns on the aftermath of Phosphophyllite’s failed attempt to persuade Kongō to pray. Phos returns to the moon to regroup, but the other gems’ circumstances have shifted: Padparadscha is affected by Cinnabar’s poison, Yellow Diamond has suffered a severe psychological blow, and Cairngorm and the others are finding lunar life agreeable. With the group facing different pressures and Phos short on ideas, the volume brings its conflict into a period of reassessment and competing circumstances.

Good fit for readers who enjoy

  • For readers following the Land of the Lustrous series and its ongoing conflict between the gems and Lunarians.
  • For manga readers interested in speculative settings built around crystalline beings and lunar conflict.
