A translated manual on Polish sabre fencing

Maciej Bojarski’s translation presents Ivanowski’s “New Cavalry Fencing System,” accompanied by extensive translator’s commentary. The volume places the manual and its author in context and addresses a gap noted in the description: the scarcity of accessible, reliable sources on Polish sabre fencing. Its subject connects the practical study of historical fencing with the history of East-Central European martial traditions.
